A club that gives the city back more than it takes.

We are a Dallas nonprofit. Beyond the competitive crews, DUC exists to widen who gets to be on the water, and to use White Rock Lake as a place the whole city comes together.

Dallas is a vibrant, diverse, and sometimes divided metroplex. At Dallas United Crew, we believe the water has a unique power to bring people together. On White Rock Lake, background and zip codes fade away; all that matters is the rhythm of the boat and the shared pull of the crew. DUC is more than a rowing club—we are a community anchor dedicated to inclusivity, connection, and unity across the city we call home.

DUC in Action: Stewardship and Service

Open Houses at the Boathouse

The boathouse doors are always open. Throughout the year, DUC hosts public Open Houses to introduce the Dallas metroplex to the life-changing sport of rowing. Whether you are curious about competitive racing, recreational fitness, or dragon boating, these free events offer a welcoming hands-on introduction to our fleet.

For The Love Of The Lake

White Rock Lake is a public treasure, and DUC is fiercely committed to its long-term care and preservation. We proudly partner with For The Love Of The Lake, mobilizing our rowers, families, and staff for monthly lake cleanup days to ensure the park remains clean, beautiful, and safe for all Dallas residents.

A Most Beautiful Thing: Arshay Cooper’s Visit

We believe that changing the face of rowing starts with powerful stories and meaningful partnerships. DUC was honored to host Arshay Cooper—celebrated author, speaker, and protagonist of the documentary A Most Beautiful Thing—who came to our boathouse to share his inspiring journey as part of the country’s first all-Black high school rowing team. Arshay and his nonprofit, A Most Beautiful Thing Inclusion Fund, have actively supported our mission, helping us build a more inclusive, diverse, and vibrant environment where every Dallas youth can discover the life-changing power of being in a boat.

Scouting and Civic Partnerships

We believe in fostering the next generation of civic leaders. DUC frequently collaborates with local Scouting America Troops, sponsoring meaningful Eagle Scout service projects at our facilities and hosting coordinated on-water lake cleanups to keep our environment pristine.

Our Community Programs

RowDallas

Breaking down traditional barriers to entry, RowDallas brings the sport of rowing directly to youth at schools and community centers that historically lack access. Our athletes mentor, coach, and race alongside one another, expanding the sport to build character and opportunity.

DUC PINK Dragon Boating

A powerful community of breast cancer survivors, DUC PINK channels resilience, strength, and camaraderie into high-energy dragon boat paddling. This team proves that healing happens together, supporting one another from local practices all the way to international festivals.

Adaptive and Veteran Rowing

We believe the water belongs to everyone. Our Adaptive and Veteran Rowing initiatives provide specialized coaching and modified equipment, ensuring that individuals with physical or cognitive disabilities, as well as our nation’s military veterans, can experience the freedom, fitness, and peace of mind found on the water.

Team Building

Looking to unite your organization or workforce? Our team-building events take your team out of the office and onto the water. Rowing demands absolute synchronization, trust, and communication—offering local organizations and businesses the ultimate masterclass in pulling together.
