High Performance And Shared Camaraderie
Dragon boating is an ancient sport dating back over 2,000 years that has evolved into one of the fastest-growing team water sports in the world. Powered by a crew of 20 paddlers, a drummer, and a steersperson moving in total synchronization, it requires focus, rhythm, and collective strength.
DUC Delite is DUC’s volunteer-based, premier competitive dragon boat team. While we train to compete at regional and national festivals, our team culture extends far beyond race day. From weekend breakfasts after practice to team social gatherings throughout the year, Delite is built on lasting friendships and shared momentum.

Supporting Our Boathouse Family
Beyond racing, DUC Delite members play an active role across the entire Dallas United Crew organization. Experienced Delite steerspersons frequently collaborate across programs—providing safety and steering support for our DUC PINK breast cancer survivor crew and assisting with community outreach events on White Rock Lake.
