Scholarship Fund

 

Dallas United Crew is on a mission to make rowing a more accessible and diverse sport. It's no secret that our equipment, travel, and various fees and expenses are costly. Financial barriers have unfortunately excluded those who could truly benefit from this life-changing sport.

 

Rowing offers incredible opportunities for growth, development, and strong relationships. The lessons of leadership, teamwork, hard work, perseverance, and determination stick with rowers throughout their lives. Additionally, many of our junior rowers have doors of opportunity opened in higher education through the form of athletic scholarships or a more competitive collegiate application through their involvement in the sport. DUC has seen hundreds of middle and high school students go through our junior rowing program and their progress and growth has been and continues to be inspiring.

 

With the help of our donors, we set aside thousands of dollars for scholarships every season to ensure that no one is turned away from rowing regardless of income. In 2024 alone, DUC provided over $35K in scholarship assistance to rowers in need.
